Akzidenz Grotesk Type Specimen
A type specimen book for the typeface Akzidenz Grotesk. I juxtaposed the expository text with Ezra Pound's "A Retrospect & A Few Don'ts," which stated Pound's belief that poetry should be simple and clean, yet still expressive like music. I thought that Akzidenz Grotesk possessed those qualities—it is seemingly plain, but is actually quite quirky and expressive compared to its counterparts such as Helvetica.
